Dual Marker test
My Wife is 13week 6 Days pregnant... She did her usg which was normal . Nuchal thickness is 2.5mm and CRL is 6.1 cm . Her Dual Marker showed result 1:147 For t21( increased) & 1:1237 for t21 biochem (Low) . Screen Positive .. Please suggest how serous it is....

Test results show there is high probability of baby having Down syndrome ....it becomes very essential to rule out this probability.Repeat scan at 16 wks with a fetal medicine expert and quadruple test

She needs to Get amniocentesis and genetic testing of aspirate Risk >1:250= amniocentesis Risk between 1:250 and 1:1000 = NIPT Risk
