Hi on Wednesday i got a tooth pulled it had an abcess under it. I now have a dry socket. I went to emergency there isnt anything I can do.

Infection affected tooth sometimes takes more time to heal so it may be delayed healing.post extraction pain and swelling is common.dry socket usually happens between 2-4 days after extraction.site becomes dry and grey in colour . Underlying bone can also be seen.dry socket is not a severe complication, it gets treated with little intervention.it is just absence of blood clot on site due to various reasons.it will subside in 7-10 days
