Eye pressure has no causal relationship with dry eye disease. Eye pressure has a variance at different times called diurnal rhythm. A single high reading has no significance as we need to check the pattern throughout the day. Thickness of cornea is also an important determinant in eye pressure measurement. You may discuss with your doctor. For I Dian patients with average corneal thickness a range of 16 +~ 3 is considered normal.

Pressure has to be evaluated 3 times a day and then we can come to a conclusion. Pl continue lubricant eye drops. Pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
