Double vision
Hi There, Today my father visited eye hospital because he is facing sight issues (double vision while looking down) from 10-15 days and doctor prakhar Goyal I'm Anand eye hospital c- scheme Jaipur done the visual field test and found that visual field is okay and suggested that consult with neurologist and get the brain MRI done.. because there seems to be some eye nerve is pressed or something... My question is what are the potential outcome may come from MRI Why he suggested the MRI

MRI brain can reveal any space-occupying lesion compressing the nerve further affecting eye movements.

Check the sugar level first Check blood pressure too Then go for MRI Sometimes diabetic patients have this type of diplopia which may subside by itself
Next Steps
mri will rule out any nerve compression most probably 4 th nerve can be involved superior oblique

To look for Neurological cause by doing MRI  ..paralysis of nerve which supplies eye muscle can cause diplopia..

Please get neurologist opinion at the earliest.  There could be a nerve palsy that is causing these symptoms.
