For the past couple of days, I am having diplopia at extreme right lateral gaze with eye strain and headaches.
I visited two squint specialists, and both said no intervention is required from squint side after performing cover, uncover and alternate cover tests.
I have some uncorrected astigmatism in both eyes.
can this be the reason for diplopia and eye strain?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Should I consult any further squint specialist?
I don't have any history of previous strabismus diagnosis or trauma.
Kindly help and suggest.

First the astigmatism has to be corrected with glasses.
Later assesment of binocular vision is required to rule out convergence or accommodation deficiency.
