ashwagandha has properties which improve sperm count. I suggest you take it at least 5 gm that is about 1 tablespoon. at night about an hr after food with milk or warm water.another thing to be taken into consideration is your digestion and absorption is good to digest ashwagandha  and give you results. also one should also see that ashwagandha is rigt choice for your sperm condition. as if there is block in sperm transporting tubes ashwagandha may not work. if there is another underying cause for low sperm count which can not be treated with ashwgandha it wont help you.
Next Steps
please consult ayurveda expert to find out cause and if ashwagandha is right for your condition.
Health Tips

Preferable to take it with warm water or milk after meals. Include food that are rich in carotene like carrot, sweet potato, spinach, musk melon ( any fruits and vegetables that are yellow or orange in colour) Avoid processed food and exercise daily for at least 30 minutes
