Done my ct scan ..
Does ct scan detect gerd?...my ct scan abdomen is normal so do I have gerd ??..kindly help me on this...

No , ct scan does not detect gerd. Only in extreme cases , Haitus hernia can be made out. But best tool to detect GERD is upper GI ENDOSCOPY

No gerd is not detected on ct scan , gerd can be detected on endoscopy

I think that you should do endoscopy ( upper gi endoscopy ) is best diagnostic of choice . Specificity and sensitivity of CT scan is less so don't detect clearly .
