Hi ,
It is only after a psychologist evaluates help assess and diagnose mental health that appropriate techniques are determined for the best treatment plan for mental and physical health. Then therapeutic skills are given to help reduce and manage symptoms and learn more positive ways to live a normal life.
Cognitive Behaviour therapist can help give an understanding to cope with feelings, thoughts and behaviors, offering you guidance on skills to manage the same .

Hi... To address relationship issues, Interpersonal Relationship Counselling works well. It's not just the behaviours/activities that need to improve but the faulty thought patterns and negative triad that needs to be identified and addressed. For Depression, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) works well.
You need to first consult a Psychiatrist for a diagnosis or a Psychologist to identify her core issues, based on which appropriate treatment will be conducted. Remember, it is the 'process of therapy' that heals the scars (mental) and not just the content of it.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist.
CBT along with Interpersonal Relationship Counselling & Guidance is required.
