Do I really have the root tip on #48?
I have posted earlier about my right side lower jaw pain and severe pain in gums of #47. 46 tooth was extracted for same reason gum pain but no issues found on it. Pulled it last year because it was so painful. Now severe pain in gum of #47. Went to dentist and took x-rays. Normal. Did cold test and it was so cold but went away in few seconds. Saw OMFS. He pressed tooth with his fingers. It was painful for probing and pressing. He said something wrong and told me to go back to the dentist and ask. I am currently outside of India and have to get treatment here. I posted about my gum pain in 47 in Practo. One dentist replied that I have some root tip/stump left over from that 48. I removed this #48 wisdom tooth ten years ago. None of the dentist/Endo/OMFS told me about this root tip. I have jaw pain and this molar gum pain for 3+ years now. Practo dentist replied I have infected root tip from 48 jaw bone until 46 region. Is that true?47 infected too? Anyone see infected root tip?pls

Yes You have a complete root of 48 lying distal to and a little far from 47. It is not even showing up in this xray. Check your OPG that you shared yesterday.
