Do I need another colonoscopy
Hi all, I recently had an anal fissure which was due to constipation. Before that I had occasional diarrhea due to food related issues. The anal fissure is cured now but I am having mild stomach pain now and then. I had a colonoscopy in 2011 which was normal and the doctor diagnosed as IBS and a sigmoidoscopy in 2014 August which revealed both anterior and posterior fissure. Ever since then I've been having on and off fissure and hemorrhoids. I had a c reactive protein test 4 months ago which was normal and so was my CBC and also fecal occult blood test. Any reason to have a colonoscopy now for the mild stomach pain or could this be ulcerative colitis or crohns or cancer?

Not at all. If your previous colonoscopy was normal, also repeat sigmoidoscopy revealed only fissure there is no need of any colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy now. Fissure diagnosis is made by local EXAMINATION. It doesn't need sigmoidoscopy colonoscopy etc. If your SYMPTOMS are of ibs why are you undergoing so many tests unnecessarily. Stop worrying about crohns uc cancer etc.

Colorectal cancers in your age is unlikely in absence of any family history.Ulcerative colitis usually presents with blood mixed stools.Crohn's disease is hard to rule out by history alone. If the pain is severe, colicky and there is weight loss/anorexia then you should undergo colonoileoscopy.
Next Steps
You can get a fecal calprotectin done. Take treatment for fissures.
