My son has been feeling neck discomfort for the past 6 months. Consulted multiple orthopedics and did x-ray which turned out fine. So, orthopedics said it is because of improper posture. He gave a course of painkillers and hot therapy for 5 days which just provided temporary relief. One of them suggested an eyesight test. So we got new specs but still the pain was still there. Then we consulted a physiotherapist and have been following exercises for 2-3 days but the pain has increased. Please suggest what to do and which type of doctor to consult.

reduce the bending angle of his neck while studying, eating food and limit the use of gadgets. keep them at eye level. if he is tall, then there is a need to bend more, which is making his neck muscles at the back inefficient and tired. exercises will make them more tired. give him a collar to use spread over few hours in a day.
