Disc dessication at L4-L5, L5-S1 levels
I have posterocentral disc extrusion at L4-L5, L5-S1 level causing indentation of ventral thecal sac also PCOD with overweight so I started doing exercise to reduce my weight. Is it ok if I do exercises which involves bending over or lift my hips up. Im doing exercises from March 2020 till today. I get bearable back pain sometimes. Is that ok to continue my exercises or will that create any serious issue if I continue doing the exercises

If you are experiencing trouble some pain kindly avoid exercises that you find painful, squatting and lifting weights is to be avoided generally, you should do abdominal and spinal core strengthening exercises, also you should control your weight by proper diet. Kindly contact me through practo so that we can discuss the matter with you in detail. Thank you

Hello Practo User, MRI report is not going to dictate the course of treatment. What symptoms you are facing is most important. Ofcourse you can exercise, but within the limits of pain. Apart from exercise, give utmost importance to your posture and diet. Regards.
