Digestive tract issue
Respected Doctors here 🙏🏻. I had excess of boondi raita with Lunch in the last month or so. Added a glass of chach to it. Somedays the lunch was only with boondi raita. As well I had excess of watermelon (atleast 3 kg a day). Now am feeling intestines having coiled up, burning sensation while passing stools and having constipation. Started Pan 40 today. Will Ulgel A syrup help? Please guide for remedial medicines🙏🏻

Excess intake of raita, buttermilk, and very large quantities of watermelon (3 kg/day) can cause gut irritation, acidity, and bowel disturbance due to the high water and sugar content overwhelming the digestive system. The burning during stools and constipation are likely a result of this dietary overload. Pan 40 is appropriate to start for the acidity. A gut-soothing antacid suspension can also help with the burning sensation.
Next Steps
Reduce or stop the excess intake immediately. Eat simple, light meals with cooked vegetables and dal. Stay well hydrated with plain water. If constipation persists beyond 2-3 days or blood appears in stools, see a doctor. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.

symptoms of a burning sensation and constipation could stem from the sudden dietary shift, as excess watermelon and dairy can disrupt gut motility. While Pan 40 addresses acidity, Ulgel A may provide temporary relief for burning, but a clinical examination is necessary to rule out fissures or hemorrhoids.
