Bartholin's cyst is collection of secretions in the bartholin's gland. Due to blockage of the duct ..boil is an infection of skin

Bartholins gland swelling is is bartholins cyst, where as vaginal boil is like any other boil around the skin anywhere else, you get it post friction or something Bartholins would be on lower end to the side
