Is their any difference b/w clinical psychologist and psychiatrist.if so then what is the difference.and to whom a person should contact to control the mind or excessive thought

Psychiatrist and psychologist are both deal with mental disorders and mental problems.
Some problems needs medication then psychiatrist give tgem medicine .
Some problems needs mental health management then psychologist Offer them psychotherapy and counselling.
Some problems needs both then patient have to consult both of them.

Psychiatrist looks after medication part and psychologist looks after counseling and therapy of various clinical disorders. It depends what's the intensity of the symptoms. For initial consultation diagnosis and therapy you can consult a psychologist. Based on the evaluation you can be directed to a psychiatrist if need permits

Psychologist are not doctors, remember that before you consult psychologist.they will refer you to doctors anyways so.
