Diet of pregnant woman in 3rd trimester
My wife is 7 months pregnant and she does not like to drink milk or eat paneer and does not ever eat fish. She eats chicken and egg, but does not feel eating them often. She is more fond of vegetables, specifically potato. Could you please suggest what needs to be done? Is there a proper diet considering what she likes, or she has to somehow eat those items to avoid any issues in future?

Greetings!    During pregnancy including good amount of protein in the diet is essential for baby's growth. Apparently since your wife is not liking these protein rich sources, you need to encourage her to have other sources like whole grains, pulses, legumes, soya chunks, curd or buttermilk in her diet. Also it's important to take cereals and pulses in a combination to get the desired protein quality equivalent to non veg food sources. Also it is important to include lots of green vegetables, other vegetables and fruits in the diet as well.
