Yes milk should be given as at 7 months kids don't take the amount of solids that fulfills their energy requirement..2-3 meals 2 snacks and milk will be enough..U can gradually decrease on milk as they take solids..

Give protein rich food along with fruits vegetables and Green elafy vegetables

Definately you can give milk... But make sure after 6 months it is complementary food that is semi-solid food more important. So keep it that as priority and milk is next
