I am a mother to a 4 month old baby and after lot of effort have been successful in having a decent milk supply however the supply is still not enough to keep my baby on exclusive breast feed.
Can I start dieting as I have gained a lot of weight post partum without affecting milk production?
What all things to include in my diet or foods that I should not avoid in order to have better lactation while trying to loose weight

Hi,
Firstly, your milk production can still increase. It just requires a proper latch, galactogogues and a supplement if needed.
Secondly, if you would like to lose some extra kilos it can be done with a proper diet considering the calories your body needs keeping in kind that you are still breastfeeding accompanied with daily exercise.
