I had ceaserean four months ago with first baby and I don't like to take iron and calcium supplements. As I Am feeding my baby i want an alternate diet instead of supplements please do suggest some healthy snacks

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Iron and calcium supplements are necessary and also it doesn't have any adverse effects on your baby . It's a good thing that you want to opt for natural measures. Have high protein diet and foods like dark green leafy vegetables and fruits like apples, dates, etc are rich in iron. Milk and milk products are high in calcium. Expose your body to sun for atleast 20 mins a day before 12 so that you get enough vitamin D3 also. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
