Do you have any symptoms like increased thirst, increased urination and or appetite or weight loss? Though fasting and p.p. blood sugars are normal, but high HbA1c is highly suggestive of diabetes. If you have no problem, just take a sugar free, low fat diet  do regular physical exercise,  take small frequent meals, adequate rest.
Next Steps
Repeat blood sugar fasting,  p.p.and HbA1c after 3 months. If normal o.k. If still high, you  would need meds.

The HbA1c of 7.1% confirms Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, even though the FBS and PP values appear relatively well controlled. HbA1c reflects average glucose over the past 2–3 months, so it is a more reliable marker of long-term glycemic control.
Next Steps
Yes, early-stage type 2 diabetes can often be reversed or put into remission through: 1. Lifestyle changes: Weight loss (5–10% of body weight), regular exercise (150 min/week), and dietary modifications (low-glycemic index, high-fiber foods). 2. Medication: In some cases, a short course of metformin helps normalize levels and can be stopped if lifestyle alone becomes effective. 3. Monitoring: Regular monitoring of FBS, PP, and HbA1c every 3–6 months. 4.Repeat HbA1c in 3 months after lifestyle changes. 5. Get baseline lipids, LFTs, and renal function if not already done.

Yes Hba1c of 7.1 indicates that you have diabetes. You'll need medication and lifestyle modification at the earliest. You can't reverse diabetes but it can be controlled with medicine and diet. Consult a General physician or Endocrinologist for further management.
Next Steps
Requires medication for diabetes. Consult a Physician or Endocrinologist.
