According  to Indian school  of thoughts  hba1c is high means u r diabetic. Liver enzymes  too high. U NEED TO CHANGE LIFE STYLE N DIET PLAN DRASTICALLY  WITH DIATICIAN  MEANS DIABITIC DIET. FOR LIVER TAB UDILIV 300 TWO TIMES A DAY AFTER FOOD FOR 2 MONTHS. LIV 52 ONE AT NIGHT FOR 2 MONTHS.  ADD BUTTERMILK, CURD, BEETROOT  IN LITTLE  AMOUNT AS ITS HEALTHY FOR LIVER. GO FOR FASTING BLOOD  SUGAR N POST PERENDIAL BLOOD SUGAR AFTER CONSUMPTION OF 75 GM GLUCOSE.  IT WILL CONCLUSIVE.

No you dont have diabetes as of now. Hba1c are not diagnostic for diabetes, they vary in multiple conditions. Get repeat Fasting sugar, after that take 75 gm glucose powder and then repeat sugar after 2 hours. For LFt part, you may need a viral hepatitis workup and further test may be needed as per reports. Hello, Thanks for reaching out with your test results and symptoms. Let’s go over them: 1. Diabetes Status: • Your HbA1c is 7.1%, which falls in the diabetic range (≥6.5% confirms diabetes). • However, your fasting glucose is 94.4 mg/dL, which is within normal limits. This discrepancy could be due to early diabetes, or a lab variation, especially if you were ill or under stress. But as per current guidelines, HbA1c ≥7.0% is diagnostic, so it is likely you are diabetic or in early stages. A repeat test or Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) can help confirm. ⸻ 2. Liver Enzymes (SGPT/SGOT): • Your SGPT (ALT) is 123 and SGOT (AST) is 343, both significantly elevated. • This suggests liver inflammation, which could be due to: • Fatty liver (NAFLD) – common in people with insulin resistance/diabetes. • Alcohol, medications, or viral hepatitis. You should get evaluated further with: • Ultrasound abdomen (USG) • Hepatitis B & C tests • Lipid profile and liver function panel ⸻ 3. Gastrointestinal Symptoms: • The bloating and heaviness after meals may be due to gastritis, acid reflux, or delayed gastric emptying, sometimes worsened by fatty liver or diabetes. • Avoid fatty, spicy, or late-night meals. Eat smaller portions, and stay upright after meals. ⸻ What You Should Do: 1. Repeat/Confirmatory Blood Sugar Tests: • OGTT and/or repeat HbA1c in 2–3 weeks. 2. Get a Liver Workup: • USG abdomen • Hepatitis viral markers • Review medications or alcohol use. 3. Start a Liver-friendly and Diabetic-friendly Diet: • Low sugar, low fat, high fiber 4. Medication: • Based on further evaluation, you may need medicine for blood sugar and/or liver protection.
