Diarrhea, body aches, fever
My mother is an arthritis patient and she is suffering from stomach infection, unbearable body ache, fever and loss of appetite. We have started diarrhea treatment- antibiotics including ornidazole and ofloxacin and ridol for controlling loosemotions along with electrolytes. For fever she's taking dolo 650 mg. But her body aches are not going away. She is having unbearable headache, back ache , legs and joint pains. Can this be of some other origin? Or its related to diarrhea?

She is a case of Arthritis and these patients need treatment for a very long time. These medicines are irritant to the stomach. So one cause for her abdominal complaints may be oral analgesics. So instead of going for intestinal antiseptics it is better to just stop her painkillers for a few days. In addition she should get Blood test for CBC, Kidney function, Liver function, If fever persists she will need test forDengue and Malaria.
