Diagnosed with MDR-TB
My mother has been diagnosed with MDR-TB and the doctor has suggest lots of medicine that too high mg medicine to take in a single time.. After taking those medicine my mother feels like fainted, she is not eating her food properly only some 2-3spoon of rice and if Roti then only half or sometimes just a single bite, she is drinking milk and juices but not eating properly. My query is can she take her medicine part by part like some of medicine in noon time and some in night time after food and the injection which doctor suggested her to take for next six month what will be the best time for injection in morning time or in evening time. Need your advice doctor please help us we are too worried about our mother.

Injection can be taken at any time during the day. Tablets it’s ok if you can split and take it . It’s understandable all cannot be taken together . Please do not skip any medication

All antitubercular drugs should be taken at one time in order to avoid resistance , neeeded detailed history, do a online consultation with a pulmonologist for further evaluation and management
