Diagnosed gad three month before
Taking medicine from last 2 n half month. M feeling well but still there is nervousness few times in a week. Pl tell me how long it will take to settle.

Dose titration of prescribed medicines would be required. Consult with your doctor again. In addition, start practicing relaxation strategies like simple breathing exercises, JPMR. This would definitely benefit you in long term.

Hi GAD affects the quality of life. I am glad that you are better on medication. You may need to optimise the medication. Please consult a Psychiatrist. Long term management of anxiety disorders include psychological therapy. E.g. cognitive behavioural therapy. There are self help videos available on YouTube. Please watch series of self help videos on anxiety. Try relaxation techniques and meditation.
