Diabetic diagnosed with sepsis
My father has been in i.c.u ..for 25 days.after shifted to ward.he is got some memory loss. he have delusion nd hallucinations. He is not taking little much food not getting hungry.Nd always he feels every drowsy nd even he can't able sit or walk . doctor's advised us to make him to sit.wen ever we make him to sit. He get giddiness .

Since he was in icu it is critical condition. This requires time for full recovery. He will require diabetologist, psychiatrist,physician,neuro physician and finally physiotherapist.

Hello, There are multiple reasons that can contribute to this condition like infection, paralyzing conditions etc. A prolonged ICU stay could also be a contributing factor.  But it is very important to keep in mind that your treating doctor would be the best to access the criticality and advice management.  You could get a neurology consultation to access more in detail.
