Normally Dexamethasone is 2ml vial which contains 8 mg of Dexamethasone. So you need 3 ml of Dexamethasone for 12 mg. But I have my doubts if you should take this at 29 week pregnancy. The medicine will do its job but taking the baby out at 30 weeks will not be correct. I would have waited for 3-4 weeks more before giving Dexamethasone.
Next Steps
Please ask your doctor about the point I have mentioned. Is it a IVF Pregnancy (Test tube baby) ? In those cases we may like to take out a baby so early.
