xylomist nose drop 2 drops 3 times a day for 5 days. not more than 7 days.

Decongestant nasal spray like Otrivin- 3 drops 3 times for 5 days.
Caution- Do not use it for prolonged period of time, it causes Rhinitis Medicamentosa.

Avoid using OTC local decongestant sprays(like Ortivin/Nasivion) in your nose as regular usage causes Rhinitis Medicamentosa or Rebound Congestion. The principle is similar to Drug Addiction, where the action initially lasts upto 8 hours, but progressively reduces to 6, 4 and then 2 hours, needing you to increase the frequency of decongestant administration. Ultimately the tissues in your nose congest so badly, that Surgery will be the only option.
Next Steps
do regular Jala Neti (traditional warm saline nasal washes) instead. They won't have the dramatic initial decongestion, but have a sustained effect and zero side-effects.
