When a person is having medical problems, underlying depressive symptoms can slightly increase. You need to take treatment for your underlying fever and general medical issues apart from your antidepressant medications. You can also consult with your psychiatrist and decide if your antidepressant medication dose needs to be adjusted for the present situation. Good luck.
