Hello practo user
I can understand the difficult situation that you have been facing since a long time in your life. It seems that the constant comparison since a young adulthood could have been contributing to your low self confidence and fear of making mistakes in your day to day tasks . You can try and practice some assertiveness training by reading or seeing videos for the same . It is important for you to be able to out forward your ideas without having the fear of disappointing others around you . Try and practice deep breathing and meditation on a regular basis to help in your focus . Try and set small achievable realistic goals for your daily tasks and reward yourself after completing them , this will also increase your confidence. It is advisable that you seek help from a clinical psychologist for a better understanding of your case and formulation of a personalized treatment plan through which you can learn positive and healthy coping skills and strategies for the same. You can also reach out to me through the practo app for any further help or guidance.

It takes immense courage to speak out I appreciate that but it is high time you meet a professional preferably a clinical psychologist who will first understand what and why exactly you are expressing all the above mentioned issues and guide you through the process of better management of the issues and thereby recovery. Most important thing I would want you to understand is don't succumb to the negative thoughts they are fleeting and don't let your circumstances define the person that you are.
