Depression and Anxiety
Doctor , I had depression last year April and my psychiatrist prescribed petril, prodep 20 mg for about 8 months by gradually tapering them.. I was feeling much better.. I stopped the medicine by Dec 1st as per doctor's advice.. I had an ivf recently and was a failure coz of which I think I have gone into depression again.. This time I consulted a homeopathic doctor 10 days back and she has put me in homeopathic medicine from 10 days but I don't see me any better.. My symptoms are- having terrible headache and eye pain, nausea, low appetite, sleep with much difficulty, wake up very early and can't sleep again, feel very low and not normal, cry most of the times, feeling tired. I just want to know if I can get back to my psychiatrist again and can homeopathic medicines be continued along with allopathic? Kindly need your valuable and true feedback.. need to get back being normal. Thank you!

Hi.. Trying various different form of treatment simultaneously is not going to work constructively & effectively. Stick with one form which suits you the best. Try minor lifestyle changes to maintain your recovery on long run!

Hello, If you have responded to allopathic medicines in past. you should better restart the same medicines under the guidance of a psychiatrist. Combining allopathic and homeopathic medicine does not seem the first choice.
