I have general stains at the back of my teeth (upper and lower), I used to be an occasional smoker (quit now for 6 months). Is there some product in market which I can use to get rid of these stains. They are yellowish brown in color, look more like deposits than stain. I have been trying normal brushing twice a day.

As you rightly understand, what you are describing appear to be deposits and not stains. These can only be cleaned by a dental professional and not by any products available in the market. So I recommend you visit a dentist asap because if these deposits stay for long they will damage your gums.
