I am going through rct.is dental poast necessary.there are 3 roots.doctor is charging 2500per root.please advise is it necessary

I undertand your concern , based this xray post is not necessary i think , but its just one sided view , the buccal view could have been possible to asses with a clinical picture. and based on my fellow dentist's suggestion i blv post wud hv b necessary . in that case yes, one post per root makes it 3posts. for which the charge varies. may be you can take a second opinion from another dentist if cost is bothering you
