I undertand your concern , based this xray post is not necessary i think , but its just one sided view , the buccal view could have been possible to asses with a clinical picture. and based on my fellow dentist's suggestion i blv post wud hv b necessary . in that case yes, one post per root makes it 3posts. for which the charge varies. may be you can take a second opinion from another dentist if cost is bothering you

Talking about charges, we cannot comment on the charges. You can get a crown/cap after RCT. Post is not necessary.

Not necessary. Your tooth has definite structure which can be left normally as it is. You should go for crown after RCT.
