Are small dental cysts at the tip of the teeth harmful? Do they require to be removed? Are there any chances of them growing?

Cysts must be removed... There are 2 ways one is surgical way which will give u result quickly n problem will be solved... Other way is to undergo RCT of the tooth but that is a long term treatment which may take even 1 year to heal ur cyst...

Yes cyst is harmful, it is slow growing  and effects the surrounding  bone and teeth . So needs to be treated . First go for rct and then if required depending on the size u need to go for apicectomy or enucleation . Advisable to get it treated.

Do undergo RCT or it wil keep expanding and harm adjacent teeth or may cause cheek swelling or intra or extra oral pus discharge.

A cyst is a collection of granulation tissue which collects at the bottom of the tooth due to pulp necrosis... in short it is a symptom/ clinical sign of an infection of the tooth... u need a root canal treatment if you dont want it to grow further or develop pus
