Dental Crowns
I got dental crowns done on my front 4 teeth. I wish I had gotten veneers and I'm regretting it now. What are the complications I might have to face? How to deal with them? I hate that I feel the presence of something artificial in my mouth. Will this fade away and feel natural? Did I take a very wrong decision doing for cosmetics? I feel miserable.

Welcome to practo.. The crowns if placed after root canal treatment, then there won't be any pain or sensitivity.. The crowns in case placed just with tooth preparation means, it can cause pain and sensitivity.. It happens but in rare case.. Sometimes, the crowns needs few days to adapt.. Wait for few days.. Then also if you have any discomfort , check for any high points.. Then wait for few days, again if you feel discomforts, take an xray and consult me.. Thank you..

Veeners are the latest and the best procedure to follow but with time there might be senstivity so root canal is the best and long lasting procedure

As you have already got the treatment done, crowns can be changed anytime. If you feel your crowns don’t look natural, you can go for zirconia crowns anytime. The only complication you may face later in life is sensitivity & pain in case Root canal was not done prior to crown placement. The crowns that have been placed will not look natural with time.
