Dengue relation with immunity
Hi , i wanted to understand if this is reality or myth , that if a person have strong immune system , he/she might not get impacted by dengue at all not even mild fever and dengue can ho unnoticed as any other mosquito bite. But if i have low immunity it will cause fever and low platelet count. So is this true or not? Do dengue irrespective of immune system impacts our body ?

Moderate immunity is always good.Low immune people can get serious rapidly that's true.But high immunity Is also a problem.Think your body react so much to a mild infection that too is not good

While it is true that immune system can ward off a lot of infection. Calling a person's immune system "strong" is something that is not accurate. Immune systems are just different for each person. While few individuals could be more resistant to certain infections. The same could be prone to other infections.
When it comes to dengue. We should remember that it affects enough number of people that it is an illness that can defeat most immune systems initially. How individuals react to the same virus is very nuanced and most people who contract the dengue hemorrhagic fever virus, fall sick.
