Dengue fever
My father 55 years old had dengue 2 weeks back, his platelet count went really down but then he recovered and got discharged, but after 2 weeks there is a fluctuation in his platelet count. His count 2 days back was 2.8lac and from then we are regularly testing it has gone down to 2.4 and today's reading is 2.3 lac. I want to know why there is a fluctuation, is he still not cured. Is it a point to worry about? Please help me with the answer

Hi In dengue, once the platelet count start increasing usually it won't fall back again. And you need not to worry when it's more than 2 lakhs.
