Can we give extra dosage of paracetamol when fever is not going down with 5 ml paracetamol, my baby is 4 yrs old and her weight is 16.6 kg.

Hi please the composition of paracetamol
If it’s 5ml=125mg give her 10ml
5ml=240 or 250 give her 5ml
5ml =500mg give her2.5 ml

You can repeat the dose after 6hours in case fever doesn’t subside

Paracetmol should be given atleast 6 hrs interval..
By giving double dose there is no benefit as such
