Dengue and low platelets count
My wife diagnosed with dengue . First platelets count were 52000 then next droped to 18000 then I admitted her and gave platelets transfusion . Then next day platelets count 28000 . Next day platelets count 36000 today's report platelets count 47000 . If there is platelets transfusion was done then why platelets count are showing less and low increasing rate

Your platelet count is definitely improving.It will increase steadily over the period of a few days.You should be concerned when platelet count is decreasing after platelet transfusion.in your case it is increasing.
