Delayed period by 8 days, not pregnant.
Hello Docs, My period has been delayed by 8 days. I have ovarian cyst history. Took pregnancy test at home twice both times negative. I was on dose of antibiotics for a week. Please suggest me what should I do to get my periods? Daily feeling cramps and uneasiness.

We can prescribe you medicines to get periods. However the cause of delayed periods also needs to be found out so that this doesn't become routine.

Take Tablet Meprate 10 mg twice a day for 5 days
Next Steps
You will get your periods after you stop taking the medication after 7 days

Take a boiled egg daily Sleep with light off for eight hours at bedtime Drink plenty of water and fruits juice Take milk with turmeric at night

If u have history of ovarian cyst that can also cause it, get a sonography done also thyroid test. For getting menses medications can be given on consultantion
