Dark red phelgm
Hi everyone, I have been experiencing dark red cough whenever I cough hard I have gone to doctor and done a check he has given some antibiotics and Test after 3 days if coughing and blood in phelgm  still persist I ate antibiotics for one day I didn't get any blood that day today I coughed and again I got dark red cough like it was stuck in middle of lung Test he asked are CBC,ESR ,chest xray and sputum AFB test if condition still persists Initially he assured that it can be infection so relax otherwise test are there and conditions are normal in some cases blood come in cough Is the treatment right ?

You will need to get investigation and chest xray done to understand the reason for blood in cough, it's due to infection or tuberculosis, need to know via further tests and examination of the patient
