Morning cough, red mucus
For the past three months, I have been experiencing a morning cough with black mucus, and during the day, around 10 out of 20 times, the sputum is black. I visited a doctor, and they suspected it was bronchitis, so they prescribed Pulmoclear. After taking the medicine, my chest pain has improved. However, in the last week, my cough has turned red. I went back to the doctor, and they performed an x-ray, but it didn't reveal any issues. Unfortunately, I don't have a pulmonary doctor nearby. Is it possible to consult with a doctor online? Please advise me on what might be happening and whom I should consult with.

As you have described this could be acute Bronchitis, one of the commonest cause for blood in sputum also pulmoclear in patients with black sputum that is may be dried blood could further induce blood in sputum, you can consult online for a detailed evaluation as in most cases like yours chest xray remains normal' despite symptoms
