Skin color depends on various factors like race, location, etc and is mainly genetically determined and it remains same throughout life. There are other factors which can darken your original skin color and make it look uneven like sunexposure, metabolic causes, nutritional deficiencies, etc There are many treatments available to make your skin tone even like creams, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, Laser for glow.
Next Steps
Consult qualified dermatologist who will examine your skin and find out the cause for dark complexion. Based on that your treatment plan will be decided.
Health Tips
Use Sunscreen as per your skin type (gel based for oily skin, cream based for dry skin) with spf (15- 30) which is sufficient for Indian skin type. Avoid rubbing your skin while attempting to clean. Avoid harsh soaps or cleansers.
