Yes, it is dandruff(seborrheic dermatitis). It presents with itching of scalp and flaky scales on the scalp. It may lead to hair loss and pimples on face/scalp. For mild cases, Use head and shoulders/ Dove anti dandruff shampoo DAILY. Apply shampoo over scalp (not just hair) and keep for 3-5 minutes and then wash with water. Dry your hair with a towel and in SUNLIGHT after taking bath. Do not rub your hair while drying. DON'T APPLY any oil after taking bath. Other medications are there to control dandruff depending on severity, but should be adviced only on prescription.
