Dandruff on Scalp
I have had dandruff for the last few years, but last year I visited a dermatologist, and he told me that I have dandruff due to scalp eczema. He prescribed "Topisal 3%" lotion for it. At that time, most of my dandruff cleared, and after using it for a month, I stopped. I also have an issue with hair thinning, so he prescribed minoxidil 5% of the brand "Superdenz 5f." I used that, but after a few months, I started noticing dandruff again, so he told me to use Topisal 3% lotion again. I started using it, but it didn't make any difference to my dandruff. I thought it might be due to the minoxidil I was using, so I switched to alcohol-free minoxidil 5% from "Traya." After that, my dandruff was slightly reduced, but it has recurred. I searched online and found that there are three types of scalp eczema: seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, and contact dermatitis. Can you please tell me which type I have by looking at the uploaded image, and guide me on how I can treat it?
