Please let me know what is the meaning of d dimer value 680.
My father was covid positive till 23rd APR . Recovered from that . Got low grade fever from 14th May- 19th May. Doctor suggested some bacterial infection , he took antibiotics for that. After which he didn't get fever. Doctor also suggested to go for D dimer test . D dimer show value as 680. He is currently having medicine dabigatran etexilate.
I need a second opinion on the same. When will this value comes down. Is there anything else to worry?
