D&C : Future pregnancies
Hi Doc, What are the complication associated with DnC (8 weeks missed abortion) for future pregnancies through IVF ? I heard some time it affects the uterus and it's lining or create scar tissues. Is it true ? Please reply for future pregnancy point of view.

Get suction evacuation done instead of d n c...very remote possibility of scarring uterus if there is any infection following procedure or extensive curattage... don't worry about future pregnancy

There is a small chance of uterine scarring which is further reduced if done in a sterile environment by a qualified person. If still it bothers you, then consult your doctor if suction evacuation is feasible in your case.
