Hi .. It is slightly in the higher side , yes! It is basically the structure of eye and many times inherited also. Unfortunately , no way to reduce it .Mostly minus numbers increase with age. Wear the correct number. If needed, some tests can be done in case number increase further to rule out certain conditions.
Health Tips
Do not rub Eyes. treat allergies of eyes , if any.

Helo Mam Minus 3 or 4 power inclines towards high astigmatism. You should show her to local ophthalmologist and get her keratometry done as this power at this age is not so common.
Next Steps
Avoid rubbing of eyes as rubbing will further aggravate this condition.
Health Tips
She has to wear glasses full time.

Good evening mam Minus 3/4 comes under high astigmatism only but right now important thing is she should get corrective glasses for vision improvement and right development of eyes. It is usually developmental/inherited. To know exact reason, detailed evaluation is required then only it will be right to comment With time only we can understand power progression or regression. At present , she should wear glasses because vision improvement is really important at this stage
Next Steps
For further information or management , please show to paediatric ophthalmologist
