Cut in finger automatically appearing.
Hi, My hand skin gets dry and dead every winter and heals in a few days once I apply winter cream, since childhood. This year it was no different untill the dead skin won't cure. Today morning I woke up to see a fresh cut on my finger which looked liked it was a cut from a knife/blade or something sharp but it had just automatically popped up while I was asleep. I am definitely consulting a doctor later today, but just wanted to ask for help to know what is this? Is it an infection or something else?
