I had ct scan of spine for back pain . Is it a risk of cancer. I had compression of vertebrates in the report

One CT scan spine done,  does not cause cancer. But it should be done only on the advice of senior consultant .

Once exposure of CT is not going to cause cancer but your compression fracture of spine vertebra has many causative reasons and differential diagnosis in which carcinoma can be one of them

CT SCAN entails high amount of radiation. If advised by a consultant for diagnosing a condition it can be done. But do not undergo repeated scans unnecessarily.

Hii.Nothing to worry of CT scan exposure. Get the treatment for vertebral compression. Consult orthopaedician for direct physical examination and further management
