Hello I want to do CT scan Abdomen and pelvis What are the pre-requisites I am on certain antibiotics as well Can anyone help

Hi it depends on if your doctor has prescribed plain ct scan or with contrast ( or dye ) . If it is plain there is no preparation required but if it is with contrast you will need to be empty stomach 3-4 hrs before the scan Hope it helps Take care
